Ashley is an award-winning director who works regularly around the DFW Metroplex and beyond. She brings a fresh and sharp eye to her shows and strives to always think outside of the box.
Ashley’s first directing job was for the New York Fringe Festival in 2005. After moving to Texas, she became a sought-after director working across DFW. To date, Ashley has directed dozens of productions, with several recognitions and awards, including Four DFW Critics Forum Awards for her work on Ghost Quartet, The Revolutionists, Murder Ballad, and Glengarry, Glen Ross (pictured above).
Most recently, White directed the highly-regarded regional premiere of LIZZIE (pictured above), which broke records for IMPRINT Theatreworks and was celebrated widely by critics and audience members alike. Next, White takes on the regional premiere of PUFFS in January 2020.
With a passion for storytelling, White focuses on taking the audience on a comprehensive journey from start to finish, and strives for dynamic visuals that enhance the narrative.
